Notes: Length of full run from bookseller listing quoting British Library.¶¶The first four volumes hold two years in 24 issues; the next two volumes hold a New Series of two more years in 24 more issues half as long:¶Vol. 1: #1-6, 1873¶Vol. 2: #7-12, 1873¶Vol. 3: #1,13-18, 1874¶Vol. 4: #19-24, 1874¶Vol. 5: N.S. #1-12, 1875¶Vol. 6: N.S. #13-24, 1876¶¶This set has volume title pages for various publishers and American importers, but all have the printer’s device of The Chiswick Press (London: Charles Whittingham & Co.) on title verso. Despite differences in binding and publisher, library stamps show that this set has been together since at least 1891.¶¶The indexed binding articles are: ¶Vol.1 p. 48-49, “Specimen of Ornamental Bookbinding of the Sixteenth Century.”¶Vol. 4 p. 59-64, “Bookbinding in the International Exhibition” by Henry T.
