This seems to be the first book on bookbinding printed in the United States, although this is not mentioned in Pollard/Potter's brief note on the edition.¶Various bookplates and stamps, including accession and discard, of the Lowell City Public Library. The current binding predates purchase by the library, which painted over the gold-tooled spine to write a call number in white on black paint. | | Condition: |
