Something of a manual à clef for Bay Area bibliophiles; the Rathers, amateur hand printers, were introduced to bookbinding by Jane Grabhorn and helped by other noted San Francisco printers of the time, and managed at the expense of much labor and time to make a binding for this book that is a perfect imitation of a cheap publisher's case of the 1940s. Printed on Stoneheng paper which is breaking at the folds.¶An attractive amateur production with cute linoleum block illustrations. Perhaps more attractive than useful. | | Condition: |
