Good introduction to the machine bookbinding of the period with excellent photographs of 40's equipment.¶Mason's trade- focussed books for Pitman were heavily recycled, sometimes being rewritten in prose though not changed in meaning, sometimes merely being broken into separate chapters and published piecemeal.
